Maungatua Equestrian offers the following facilities:

Maungatua Equestrian is just a 5-minute drive from the Dunedin Airport. We are a small but steadily growing equine business that is based on 100 acres of flat land with laneway access and quiet country roads, at 188 Loan Metal Road, Momona.

Owner Bec Kerr lives on-site and ensures the health and safety of your horses while they are in her care.

  • 40x60m fully fenced all-weather arena with lights

  • Covered Arena

  • Full set of show jumps and fill.

  • 4x large covered yards 

  • 4x large stables

  • A wash Bay and tie-up area

  • Paddocks with Equi-Wire fencing for long or short-term stays

  • Pony/Dry Lot yards for those hard to keep weight off equines

  • 20m Round Pen

  • Day yards

  • Stallion Facilities

  • Laneway and paddock access for fitness work/ hacking 

Arenas, facilities, and paddocks are available to hire - From $20 per horse.
